Sports Injuries

Over half of all sports injuries are knee injuries. Torn ligaments and cartilage occur most often. Aches and pains of the kneecap are grouped into a category of “runner’s knee” although these injuries are also seen in cyclists, swimmers, and football, basketball, and volleyball players.
